Condition:Very good impression and good condition. No stains. Unbacked. Usual two vertical folds original to all kuchi-e prints, and a few very light creases along the right margin edge only. Top margin has several short tears to 8mm, and one 30mm long tear (mid-right of top margin). Note: Apparent discolouration at upper right is actually a remnant of the original magazine still attached to the print.

Notes:Red artist seal at lower left. Kuchi-e prints were foldout prints placed at the front of Japanese literary magazines in the 1890s to about 1910. This edition dates to that period.
