The artist remains a mystery, but I purchased this print as a set that also contained three postcard prints by Tsuchiya Koitsu that were definitely printed in the 1930s. There is also a mitsugiri-sized version of this print. Takahashi Shotei also printed a mitsugiri-sized version of this scene.
