| Senjafuda (also commonly known as 'Senshafuda or Senja Fuda') are small Japanese woodblock prints used as votive* cards that were placed on the walls, ceilings and fixtures at shrines and temples by visitors. A tradition from the Edo era, they became very popular as a collectable item around the late Meiji and Taisho periods, with many 'Nousatsu Kai' (Senjafuda Associations) being set up to make and swap senjafuda. * - Votive: Expressing or symbolizing a wish, desire, or vow.

| All of the senjafuda prints below date to the early Showa period and were produced by the 'Touto Nousatsu Kai' (Tokyo Senjafuda Association), mostly in 1930. The Tokyo Senjafuda Association was located in the Tokyo suburb of Kanda - the cultural centre of Tokyo since the Edo times. The carver of these senjafuda was the Association head Mr Chokin. | |||
