Hand painted on cream-coloured silk, then mounted on gorgeous light-blue embroidered silk, then mounted to tan silk ('ichimonji' upper/low). Wood end roller!
Condition:
Very good condition. Only very minor soiling in painted area. One small hole at upper right edge outside painted area. Surprisingly good condition for a scroll of this age. Beautifully executed by a talented artist. See large images below.
