Hand painted on silk, then mounted on green/yellow embroidered silk, then mounted on green-grey silk ('ichimonji' upper/low). Bone end roller! Gold metallc pigments used throughout.
Condition:
Quite good condition for a scroll of this age. Minimal spots and marks front (more on verso at top). A few small insect holes at green/grey 'ichimonji' top backing. Overall minor flaws. See large image below.
