Comments: This is a print from a rarely available series on Korean customs and traditions. Having been published during the wartime era, the resulting low demand (negligible foreign sales) would have resulted in the edition size having been very small. This print is still tipped to its original display folder that includes a full description of the scene (see image below), and well as full publication information, thus it is from the first (and probably only) edition. Scene description: A "kinuta" is a wooden or stone block for that was used for beating cloth. Published by Unsodo. Artist's seal and signature at lower right of image. Note: A purchaser of the majority of the prints will receive the original blue canvas 'tatou' folder that houses the full series of prints.

Print description on the accompanying folder regarding the use of the "kinuta" tool.
