In an anecdote of "Toryumon (the gateway)", it is said that a ryu (dragon) is an incarnation of a carp which jumped into the "Ryumon" (a fast flowing stream of the Yellow River in China). Accordingly, the picture of a rising dragon suggests that you can achieve anything if you make a strong effort. The magical stone which a dragon holds has supernatural power to grant a wish, meaning we should pray to the dragon for success in life, business prosperity, and family security. |
